2003 Texas Swimsuit Calendar by Delano Publishing Group
Reviewer: A reader from New Orleans, Louisiana For starters, that cover is a reprint of the poster they included with last years calendar. Not very original. I get the feeling they've just taken outtakes from previous years and put them together to form this years calendar. Two or three of the girls are the same and scenics look very similar. There is one horrible picture of a girl (used on the Ole) spread eagled with only a hat covering her privates...bad taste even for a swimsuit calendar. Regarding the pictures, the quality is good, but they don't fit the look of the theme of the calendar. It just doesn't feel Texas like. They're are a few with hats on, and one with a horse, but anyone looking for hot girls with that Texas feel should look elsewhere (does the cover look Texas or more like a girl in the Bahamas?) |

Reviewer: A reader from USA I don't know any of the people that wrote some of the reviews saying that they knew the models....I guess seeing one of them out in public jumps to the conclusion that they know them. I happen to be one of the models and I have no idea as to who these people that wrote the reviews are. As for the whole "should've been called a Phillipino Calendar," whatever. The meaning of the title "Girls of Okinawa" was to show people the diverse nationalities in Okinawa. Yes, there are some Phillipino's, but there are also other mixes. I happen to be half Okinawan. I know a couple of the other girls that were in the calendar and they happened to mixed with Chinese, Hawaiian, European, Samoan, Japanese, etc. So as you see...Okinawa is filled with many different nationalities if not mixes. |

Sports Illustrated Knockouts: Five Decades of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Photography by Steven Rick/Hoffman Reilly (Author), Steve Hoffman (Hardcover)
Reviewer: Oliver Engeland from Rheinbach Germany When I first discovered this one, I almost jumped on it. The Magazine (Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition) itself is almost never to be found in Germany, so this seemed to be the perfect alternative. And don't get me wrong: it's worth every penny, but: the picture quality changes a great deal throughout the book. Some are so good, it makes you cry - others are rather poor blow-ups from the magazine. I would have assumed that with all the production-value that you have here (hardcover, nice binding, dust-jacket etc.) the editors could have done more to exclude pictures with the above-mentioned problems. Another thing: do not expect too many pictures from before 1990, the subtitle "five decades of swimsuit photography" seems a bit misleading. All in all: high production-value, many rather exciting PG-pictures of beautiful women on the beach and very few disappointments concerning picture quality. |

Reviewer: A viewer from Martinez, California If you have seen previous swimsuit editions then you know that they range from dull to mediocre. Mostly because earlier editions have been facilitated to resemble documentaries. Dedicating much of the time to depict for us how incredibly rich a supermodels personality is, interviews, and contemplating such tintilating subjects such as 'what do men want'. A subject aparently alien to the earlier producers since their editions are so outright boring. This edition: they got it right and produced an over the top compilation. Gobs of scintilation with hotest women on the planet. For once some one realized that perhaps people would be interested in just watching supermodels wear an asortment of industries sexiest swim wear while posing provocatively. As aposed to talking about it. The production by far supersedes the previous releases in both the content and the quality of the DVD. |

MTV Uncensored - Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2001 - DVD
Reviewer: mob2000 from London I really was looking forward watching this edition of Sports Illustrated,because I have all the previous editions,and because I am a big Josie Maran fan(I think she is one of the sexiest and most beautiful women ever). But how disappointed I was for two main reasons, Firstly,the 'uncensored' tag is totally misleading. One would be excused for dispensing quickly of few $$$ without a thought just for this word alone,but this is all a marketing hype!I wonder what would the censored version be like??? Shooting fully clothed in the Artic?? Secondly, if you expect to be watching good photography, and lingering shots of these gorgeous women in bikinis,you will be sorely disappointed. This whole edition looks like behind the scene documentary for the magazine shoot, and what shots of models we have are annoyingly edited and are few seconds long at most. The last thing on my mind when I bought this DVD, was to hear photgraphers, producers and models talk and talk... So careful not to believe the uncensored claim, and if you have the previous editions, then it is ok to buy this one too to complete the collection, but it will certainly be the weakest one by far |

Reviewer: Ness Bashara from Omaha, Nebraska If you like HEIDI KLUM,the SI 2000 DVD will simply leave you in awe. I mean Heidi Klum casts a pretty large 'net'by sharing herself; as she's one of the most beautiful creatures on earth ( or simply put, she seems to really get around on the internet ) She is everywhere! I suspect the SI folks know they have a woman who will propel far beyond her essential beginings. BUT THE DVD really is just a killer. She is drop dead gorgious in a lay-out with a snake,and other wildlife in Mylasia. With the animals she poses on, she poses the age old question of are all of these women in the SI swimsiut 2000 issue 'masters of the universe?' From what I saw of Heidi Klum, I'd say without a doubt. I believe most of us mortal men would follow most of them right off the edge of a cliff :-) I highly recommend this DVD The only other "thing" that blasts me in to utopia are the Beatles |

The shoot with Laetitia Casta and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos is also steamy. It's fun to hear the sultry Casta talking with her thick French accent and giggling like a teenager. Unlike another reviewer on Amazon.com, I think the interviews make this DVD more interesting, and I like to hear the photographers talk about how they approch the photo assignments. What a job! |

Basically the woman was naked except for the paint she was wearing. The women were hot and it was filmed at an exotic beach. Nice video and great photography. Worth the money and would make a great Christmas gift for the right guy...Regards Frank |
