I just sold my boat. Thank you for putting my ad up on your website. I had good responses (besides the scams) and, in the end, it resulted in a sale. I received less than what I wanted to get, but I believe this is every boat owner's dilemma. I was really surprised by the upsurge of interest in the last three weeks. People actually do buy boats this time of the year. Any explanation?

The upsurge in interest was probably due to the price reduction on 10/15/05. This not only put your ad back on top of the for sale page, it also puts the boat "on sale".
People buy sailboats all during the year. They may only SAIL certain times of the year, but they can SELL anytime.
