An exceptional vessel inside and out sporting a fractional rig with roller furling jib and impressive sail inventory. Boat is rigged and ready for racing or cruising. 4 Foot, 4 Inch shoal wing keel fits Lake Travis slips and provides excellent upwind performance. Easy access 18 HP Volvo Penta diesel with recently overhauled fuel system is extremely efficient and highly reliable. Creature comforts below include gorgeous mahogany woodwork with cherry sole, huge refrigerator, full set of cushions, captains aft berth, and full galley with gimbaled stove. Spacious head includes standing/sitting shower. Above deck a full complement of wind instruments allows for effortless helming from the comfort of the bimini-shaded cockpit. Responsive wheel steering with autopilot provides proper mix of rudder-force feedback and "power steering" feel - all within easy reach of oversized primary winches. All control lines have been led aft and are clearly labeled. Impressive ROD rigging ensures many years of use without replacement. Entertainment options include stereo CD, Propane system for barbeque, easy access sugar scoop transom with swim ladder, ample deck space, and plenty of room in cavernous lockers. A true sailor's sailboat.

This model of Beneteau was born in 1989, and had two syblings: the 35s5 and the 38s5. The 32s5 was designed by Jean Berret, and the interior was designed by noted interior decorator Phillipe Starke (hence the S in 32s5). The boat is absolutely beautiful down below, and is strikingly fun to race or sail. Her rig allows her to stretch her legs even in light air, and she is equally at home in heavy weather. It should be noted that the 38s5 WON the challenging 1990 SORC (Southern Ocean Racing Circuit) while competing against many custom competitors. The vessel, with an excess weight of 3500 lbs (refrigerator, furnishings, etc) beat EVERY other boat on the circuit - first in fleet, first overall (forget the handicap)! Moreover, the 38s5 had no gear failure during the 1990 season - a season which was noted to be one of the worst ever. The 32s5 is the little sister of the 38s5, but she is built just as beautifully and stoutly. She is a true joy to sail, and great for entertaining.

Hi David - yes, she is finally sold - greatly appreciate your site - got about as much traffic off of it as I did from iboat.com and boats.com .
Take Care and thanks again for the help!
