1985 Capri 14.2
This is a great boat for learning to sail, very forgiving and loads of fun. I bought this boat when I was 15 (March 05) from this web site, and now I need to sell it to pay for my jeep wrangler—(yeah). It is in ready to sail condition with a couple of flaws: A repaired crack on the top deck (not structural or very noticeable), and the mast step fiberglass is a bit cracked due to loose screws under the mast plate, allowing it to wobble once on a windy day. (Doesn't affect performance). The sails are original (main and jib) and all functions well. Capri 14.2 have a swinging centerboard and rudder, allowing you to beach the boat, and step out. It is light enough to load on a trailer with six people picking it up out of the water. The trailer is in great shape, too. The boat comes with a royal blue canvas cover that snaps together, a couple of paddles, and lifejackets. All rigging is good and ready for the water. Recently refinished teak wood looks great. You'll love it!
