1972 Catalina 22 #1651
Swing Keel
1997 Merc 6hp long shaft 2 cycle, 2 cyl OB. 3 gal fuel tank. Never a problem in 5 yrs.
Three sails in fair condition. Main, hank on 135 genoa, hank on 110 jib.
Two rudders- 1 kickup, 1 standard. Both in good condition, no cracks or damage.
Mast is the older, lightweight oval/teardrop style.
Boomvang & Whisker pole.
Main & jib downhauls.
All lines new within past year.
All lines led to cockpit for soloing.
Single line reefing with tiedowns installed.
Interior cushions recovered in 2003- some water stains
Cockpit cushions new in 2003. Closed cell foam & vinyl exterior.
Main cover new in 2006.
Bimini- needs replacing.
Battery with 2 amp charger. 120V for shore power in cockpit.
Two good Danforth anchors (8 lb & 13#) with 8-10' chain & 100' 3/8 rode each.
Portapotty- never used.
5 good fenders, extra dock lines, portable swim ladder, 6 PFD's
Humminbird- Fishfinder (new 2 yrs ago- condition unknown) & good VHF portable included.
Compass onboard but not installed.
Gelcoat is chalky & cracked. Can use Sanding & Paint.
Boat is located in slip at League City, TX and available for view/check out. If you like it, my daughter-in-law will arrange for you to sail if desired.

I've been active on the Catalina 22 discussion group run by Chip Ford since its inception & others prior to that- and your website has been discussed & recommended repeatedly on each of them. That's where I learned of you about 5 yrs back.
BTW, I grew up just west of Llano & my summer job for 3 years included digging post holes, erecting poles & stringing wire for electrical power to your beautiful cove & the rest of the south Lake LBJ area in 58-61. Hope they're still standing. ;)
