Did I mention the boat has an excellent road-worthy trailer? Yeah, that too, with permanent CA plates and removable, working lights.
Comes with 4hp Suzuki 2-stoke motor.
Replaced old, cheap gate-valve through-hull with upgrade kit from Catalina Direct
Many extra bits, pieces, and parts available.
Will come with a 7.5 hp Seagull 2 stroke longshaft - uninstalled.
I never used it. The previous owner told me the seagull worked, but my guess is it will need a tuneup, at the least.
Have upgraded Catalina electrical panel - uninstalled
Have new rub-rail and full metal housing - uninstalled
Removed teak cabin-top handrails (tons more room on deck) but still have them - uninstalled
Offsore RollyTasker 130 headsail in need of repair to leech, but the rest of the sail is an 8 of 10 - uninstalled
Electrical in moderate disarray, and currently - uninstalled (C-cell powered removable running lights come with boat)
Cosmetics. It's a 1970's boat. There's some spider cracking and crazing on the gel coat. The previous owner repainted the deck forward of the mast with grey deck paint and sand. Actually, this is great, as it's way more stable than the old gel coat, but it doesn't look "out of the plastic" snappy. Some of the deck-mounted gear has some longer bolts. The white gel-coat in the cockpit isn't pristine white anymore. Other boats may "show" nicer, but none has what this one does.
If you are excited about perfect cosmetics, get out the wax and go for it. If not, don't do a thing and get out on the water with this classic that's looking ahead to another 30+ years of great sailing! I always found sailing more fun than spit-shining, myself.
Slips are still available for the upcoming season, or trailer this boat wherever you want.

The Catalina 22 is sold to a local guy for $3400. I hope he will really enjoy it. We ended up getting the '89 Capri 22 that was listed on your site, but only 30 minutes down the road, here in Northern California. Thanks for offering such a great service.
