1998 ComPac 16 XL
Solo is one of the last, and in my opinion, one of the best, ComPac 16s.
This CB16 XL was made in 1998 (Hull#2902) shortly before ComPac stopped production and switched to the new Legacy.
She has all of the upgrades and improvements that owners had asked for over the years.
She is in pristine condition and needs nothing but a new master.
Features :
Factory Performance Rig - Z-Spar Mast with internal halyards, 3-stay rig w diamond shrouds, T-ball shroud terminals and Z-Spar boom with internal reefing & outhaul lines.
Full mast head rig (not the standard fractional 7/8ths rig) 110 % Genoa/jib, mounted on CDI FF1 Roller Reefing. The jib is mounted on the SS Bowsprit. The combination of mounting the jib at the top of the mast and forward of the bow on the SS bowsprit (with teak insert), along with the SS centerboard, improves the boats windward performance significantly.
Main Sheet traveler mounted on bridgedeck.
Forespar twist-lock Tiller extender.
