Small trailerable pocket cruiser w/ fixed, shoal draft keel. The cockpit has room for four adults, is 6 ft, 11 in. long and is self bailing. There are 2 eight foot berths, space for a portable head, a vent hatch on the foredeck and a bow pulpit. The boat combines nice traditional elements like the bronze rimmed portlights with modern, rugged, hand laid fiberglass construction. It is equipped w/ a fully adjustable aluminum motor mount which allows an optional outboard to be easily lowered and raised while under sail. The superior build quality and attention to detail by the Hutchins Co. is evident throughout.
The boat is in very nice condition and clearly shows it has been well cared for. The gel coat is glossy, I can find no soft spots on the hull or deck, the hull and keel are fair (smooth) and the boat shows few signs of wear and tear. The teak bright work and oak tiller were recently refinished w/ good quality spar varnish. The sails are in good used condition. I have clear TX title in hand for the boat. An outboard motor is not included with this boat.
The trailer is galvanized and in good condition. The tires and lights are good. The trailer requires a 1 and 7/8 in. ball and a standard 4 prong connector for the lights.
The Com-Pac line of sailboats have earned a well deserved reputation for being built to last for several lifetimes and have developed a loyal following of devotees with many websites and forums dedicated to owning and sailing these wonderful boats. They are easy to trailer, quick to rig and can be safely sailed in a broad range of wind and water conditions. My wife and I enjoyed many pleasant weekends sailing and camping out on the boat.
This is an opportunity to own a well made, easy to sail boat in exceptional condition. I can usually be reached at 210-204-4390 between 4 and 9 PM, M-F and 9AM - 9PM Sat & Sun.

Many thanks for posting my ad. I started receiving calls and e-mails about 15 minutes after the ad was posted. A very nice gentleman just drove about 200 miles to see the boat and is now towing her to her new home. Please remove the ad at your earliest convenience; I'm continuing to receive calls and e-mails even as I send this. Sailing Texas.com rocks!
