1982 ComPac 19
This boat is in good condition with an excellent 2002 Nissan 4hp 4stroke OB that starts on the first pull and a trailer in good condition.
I've pulled this boat as far as Dallas with a little SUV and it was no strain at all. Sets up easily in less than 30 minutes with one person.
So far, I've bottom painted in the last 3 months, buffed out the hull, in the process of restoring the cabintop with Island Girl, added a mainsail cover and jib bag, replaced most of the trim wood with either plastic teak or new teak grab handles on the cabin top.
It has a good manual bilge pump and a good Aqua Meter compass.
If you get nervous about thru hulls, there are no holes in the hull below the waterline.
Down below, the cushions are ok, the teak is fair (in the process of re-oiling and painting) and the portlights function but need polishing. There is no battery and if you want I can help with rewiring. This is something I like the new owner to do to their desired level of complexity.
For me, this is an excellent sailing shoal draft boat with a good main, jib and 150% genoa. The original sails are there as well, but I wouldn't use them except as spares. One of the great things about a Compac is the absence of wood coring to rot weakening the boat.
This boat appears to have only ever to have been used in fresh water and the rigging is in good shape.
