The Force 5 was designed by Fred Scott and Jack Evans of AMF Alcort fame. By 1974 it was their second best selling boat and one of the fastest growing one design fleets in the nation. It has a sleek, fast hull that was a step up from AMF's simpler boats. The Force 5 has sophisticated sail controls and a high performance hull and rig.
