Topsides, fixed rudder and centerboard were recently refinished with West Marine Polyurethane Enamel.
Made in Austin, Texas, Alphas were many Texas sailor's first good boat. With a larger sail area and higher aspect ratio than a Sunfish or most of the other boardboats, Alphas are like sailing a Sunfish on steroids. This boat sails very much like a Sunfish but has room for two adults. The high level of build quality for which Glastron was noted is apparent throughout. Although this is an older boat, I can find no soft spots on the deck or hull. Note the nice bow flair - it helps to pop the boat up on a plane.
Includes tilt trailer shown. Trailer was recently refinished with good quality enamel. Bearings have been repacked, tires are good and lights work. Requires 1 7/8 inch ball.
