1987 Gulfstar Hirsch 45
Please take the time to compare this boat to every other boat on the market in this price range. You will find that it's the lowest cost, newest looking
inside, and best kept model. With a huge aft stateroom and shower it's
comfortable too. How do I know? I just bought it last year and searched
exhaustively.
We put $23K into a massive refit less than a year ago. We brought the
interior up to the standards of a 2006 boat. Please see the photos and video
below to really believe what this interior looks like.
The boat has everything needed for extended cruising. Just today, we returned
to the dock after cruising since April 06. We didn't use a mooring or a dock
the entire time. The boat is completely self sufficient, with the exception
of having to pick up diesel and water once a month while cruising. This boat
spent the past 10 years of its life in fresh water in the Great Lakes.
PS: After setting this boat up for extended cruising, we have suffered a
financial setback that prevents us from crusing any longer. I hope to sell
this boat to someone who will cherish her and all of the time and money we put
into her. I want to find her a good home.

This boat cruised all summer long (April to October) without tying to
anything but a fuel dock once a month. It is completely self-sufficient.
With 140 gals of water, we could go a month. With a watermaker installed, you
could go several months at anchor since diesel is sipped by the hour long
genset run each day.
