The Hans Christian 43T has the Telstar keel. This is a modified full keel. It has a cutaway forefoot and a cutaway aft of the keel to help in maneuverability. There is a large skeg and the rudder is mounted to the skeg. This makes the boat handle better in tight quarters than the full keel models and with less wetted surface she is a bit faster as well. The other item that makes this boat a bit unique is that she is one of the few that has a generator. It is mounted under the companionway steps and is well insulated. TRANQUILITY III has been well cared for and complete service records are available.
