1986 Hunter 23 Wing keel
LOA : 23'
Beam: 8'
Draft: 2'3"
Displacement: 2450#
800# Ballast
Good condition overall, has normal bumps and dings for a boat of this age.
New Ida sailor tiller and rudder
New Garlick 4 stroke rated motor mount
New Main sail from Lee's NE, used once
Standing and Running rig in good condition
Several Jibs, Genoas
Virtually new Spinnaker, but I never got around to rigging for it
Installed boom kicker last year so you don't need the topping lift,
though it is still there
Kenyon mast/boom with jiffy reef, down-haul and out-haul
Main Halyard and both jib winches are in excellent working condition
Added stern rail from Catalina 22 last year because I intended to race
the boat on the Neuse river
Placed 3rd at Governors Cup regatta
New VHF and antenna
Flare kit up to date
Two CG approved life jackets plus one Type 4
1 year old Garmin 440sx GPS w/ S.E. U.S. lakes card, includes depth
sounder and XM weather by subscription
Cockpit mounted compass
Sliding single burner alcohol stove with sink
Porta-Potty, Not used since I have owned boat.
Plus numerous other misc. items
Needs TWO things to be 100%....
A bottom job if you intend to keep it in the water
A new fresh water tank. The one that was on the boat when I bought it
leaked and the pump had locked up.
Installed new pump, but never purchased a new tank
Outboard motor, I don't trust the one I was using enough to let it go
with the boat.
The trailer is in good condition, all the lights, bearings and tires are
in working order as of mid-January when I moved it about 85 miles when I
relocated
