2003 Hunter 240
The 24ft Hunter 240 is ideal for trailering with its water ballast and pivoting centerboard. Combined with an 8' 3" beam and its unique mast raising system, the Hunter 240 can be easily trailered without a permit and set up by just one or two individuals. Having a beautifully spacious cabin and cockpit, the Hunter 240 that can accommodate up to six people for sailing and overnight comfort. The cabin has a sink, propane stove and porta-potty. The Hunter 240 has a portable but heavily secured table that can be used in either the cabin or cockpit. The boat is superbly powered by a Honda 8hp 4-stroke engine with an electric start which it can be easily started by any member of the crew. The boat has only been sailed in fresh water at Brookville Lake in Indiana. The boat is on its second bottom coat of paint.
