1977 Islander 28

  • Robert Perry designed, sea-worthy, stiff, dry, and well balanced, the Islander 28 makes cruising or racing a delight. She combines an easily maintained fiberglass hull with a warm, rich teak/oak interior which has berths for six, an enclosed head, efficiently arranged galley, dining table, and 6' headroom. The Islander 28 has a strong reputation. This affordable vessel, very spacious for her size, has suffered some minor storm damage. Her chain plate pulled lose and needs repair. Her mast is intact and not bent, the rigging is all there. She also needs a new headliner installed but other than that is in good shape. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a good sailboat with excellent potential, not requiring much work, at a very reasonable price.
