Vessel Description:
The Gin Fizz is a center cockpit racer cruiser made in France. This vessel has a modern underbody and hull design with a sloop rig. It was built using traditional fiberglass encased structural stringers and tabbed-in bulkheads (as opposed to modern production boats which use a separate fiberglass pan). Fiberglass hull is very thick and very strong. This boat is built for serious offshore work, but is a comfortable bay boat as well. This boat has crossed the Atlantic and been to the Bahamas and Florida. I have personally cruised the vessel as far as Corpus Christi. Vessel has a very seakindly motion and responds well in various weather conditions. Vessel is well balanced when sails are trimmed properly and the boat tracks well. She is also a fast vessel and beats well to windward due to her generous fin keel. The boat could use new paint on the hull (topsides) as the existing paint job is rather worn and much past its prime. The deck non-skid however was recently refinished and looks great. Interior bulkheads are structurally sound but have discoloration due to neglect/UV damage.
