I virtually rebuilt this boat in 2004. I installed all new shrouds
and stays, all new through-deck hardware on all stanchions and pulpit
rails, new bushings on the keel pin, and other improvements. The keel
and bottom are clean and painted with bottom paint. The trailer was
sandblasted and painted with an offshore marine sealant, and I
installed a new axel (and bearings) and new bunks.
The outboard runs great – usually starts on the first pull.
I have sailed this boat extensively in Galveston Bay and Matagorda Bay. I will be moving on to a larger boat, so I need to part with the 25. I keep the boat on its trailer in Bacliff, Texas, which is about 20 miles south of Houston.
