1982 Macgregor 25

  • This boat is a "swing keel". The keel was totally rebuilt six moths ago. It was taken off the boat, fiber glassed, Stainless Steel keel bolt sleeve installed, new keel bolt and rubber seals, new Stainless Steel cable and new winch. From top to bottom, all new. The main sail is in great condition, no tears, rips or repairs. The Jib (foresail) is new (less than a year). The Jib is on a "roller furler" system.

    The rudder was recently re-glassed and has a new tiller handle.

    Mast steps have been installed on the mast. The mast head has a TV antenna, "all-around" light, Windex and a deck light mounted on it, with all wiring thru the mast.

    The standing rigging is all new (less than six months).

    The bilge pump is new and has a new automatic switch on it and is piped to pump water directly out of the boat. Everything automatic. There is also a manual pump included.

    The boat trailer has also been rebuilt. The entire tongue is new. It has a new hitch and winch. "Bearing Buddy" grease fittings were installed on standard 14 inch auto wheel hubs.

    The boat hull has no major damage and no leaks. There are a few minor scratches and some oxidation. The entire boat needs a good buff and wax job. The "pirate fish" design on the boat is a custom made decal that I had made. It can be removed if desired.

    All the boat railing, bow, aft and side railing is original and in great shape.

    There is a new "Bimini" for the cockpit and storage straps on the aft railing. And a matching sail main sail cover, which also matches the Jib sail.

    The boat has all the coast guard required safety equipment; fire extinguisher, life vest, horns, first aid kit, throwable device, etc. Coast Guard approved foam has been installed for added safety and flotation.

    I have rebuilt the mast/bulkhead support inside the cabin and reinforced it. I also added a few shelves and a battery compartment.

    Items new within the past 12 months;

  • 2- deep cycle marine batteries
  • "All Around" light
  • Running lights
  • Deck light
  • Eagle "Cuda 168" depth/fish finder
  • Windex

    Other items included;

  • 2- Danforth anchors and rode (rope)
  • 4- fenders and rope
  • 7 gal. Water tank

    No motor

    I also have all the paper work on all electronics.

    Things the boat needs; If you plan to leave boat in the water it will need bottom paint. The trailer tires will also need to be replaced soon.

    I have lots of photos I can send and can take more if needed. Email me for photos or any questions.

    David, I sold this boat yesterday.
    Thank you very much.
