The vessel is a double ender 1984 spindrift fiberglass semi-production built sailboat, rigged as a cutter. She has a flush deck, raised cabins and center cockpit. Her teak decks have fiberglass, bulwark and a welded stainless steel double rail pipe, bow and stern rail with double vinyl jackets stainless steel cable lifelines, attached to port and starboard. The lifelines are supported by stainless steel stanchions. Atop the cabins, port and starboard, are teak grabrails. She has pedestal mounted steering in the cockpit. She has an aluminum mast, boom and spreaders with stainless steel cable rigging. Auxiliary power is an inboard diesel engine and 8kw Westerbeke gen.
The boat has a teak interior with good cabinet joiner work. Forward is the fore peak, used as anchor rode locker, with access hatch at foot of birthing. Next is the forward stateroom with birthing hung on the wings, and a private companionway door. The head with showers (for fresh and sea water), to port, is followed by the dinette, den, part of the galley, and last the navigation room.
To starboard is a companionway locker, then a settee, the othe part of the galley, followed by a companionway, and last the aft stateroom with a privacy door, starboard locker and counter. To port head also with two shower, shelving, and birthing. The engine room is across from the aft companionway and navigation room on the center line, with the cockpit above.
The length of the boat is 43', breath 13' and depth is 6'3".
There are three Barlow winches on mast. The standing rigging and the mast are brand new, replaced May 2004.
There are six (plus) sails in inventory. The cockpit has a Bimini top with full enclosure. Electric anchors (2) system. Two TV's, Watrous clock and barometer. Interior teak on paneling, cabinetry and soles. Marble tops on head sinks.
Navigation unlimited upon any Ocean. Boat located at the Corpus Christi Yacht Club pier.
EQUIPMENT: Danforth constellation and Silva Universal compasses, Autohelm autopilot, 36-mile Furuno color radar, Sitex / Codeau loran, Standard Horizont VHF, Kenwood TS 4305 SSB, Datamarine - Kodiak 2650 depth-finder. Two bilge pumps at different levels plus a third level alarm for bilge.
