1977 Seafarer 38 Cutter
Dolfijn is a wonderful offshore cruiser for someone
who wants to get away from a hussle and bussle of
modern life. Large state room , comfortable gally
(propane stove , 12v fridge) and full head (with a
small tub) makes her a perfect live aboard. Headroom
below decks is 6'3". The Seafarer 38 Cutter is a very
good, if little known design by Rhodes and has a full
internal lead ballast keel, 10'8 beam, 16,000lbs
displacement, 4'5 draft . Dolfijn is fully equiped
for cruising with solar panels, 600 Amp/hours battery
bank, Chart Plotter, GPS, SSB/HAM Radio, VHF, Windless
with 150' of chain, lots of stores for a long offshore
passage. Inboard Perkins 4-108 (50 HP)diesel with
separate starting battery . 100 Gallon water tank, 50
Gallon fuel tank. Boat is located in Fort Myers, she
is ready to sail whenever you are.
