This is a 1978 Tangerine, it was the prototype for the Renken 18 production sailboat. Renken produced the R18 throughout the 1980's

1,000 to 1,200 pounds (tangerine says 1,000 - Renken 1,200)

all hardware was replaced 2003 - 2006

Mast was powder coated black, track added

Thanks David, I have a $1,500 deposit on the boat and the soldier is supposed to have his wife bring the remainder of the money 3,200 with a few extras, minus the spinnaker.
It is almost sold - 1/2 sold. The army guy in Iraq watches the video I made to remind him of home and the sailing he is dreaming of doing.
Your website is great I had 3 people contract me to buy the boat, ready to buy, and ones car broke down coming to get the boat (from Mississippi) and another guy was in Washington State and so that deal did not work. Then this fellow in Iraq happens to live 5 miles away from me, and he dropped a deposit. What a great website you have.
