1973 Venture 17
The boat is in great condition for its age with no soft spots, blistering or major spidering. Includes everything needed to sail it off the trailer (you might need some extras to be fully CG legal). Great boat for day sailing or for short overnights.
Hate to see it go but I am selling this boat because I recently upsized.

Main and Jib - Both in great condition. No holes, rips or repairs. (main needs new battens)
All lines run aft
Headsail downhaul
Topping lift
Standing rigging in great condition
Standing rigging includes forestay with a quick release (lever type and quick pin) for easy rigging
New halyards, topping lift, headsail downhaul
Brand new mainsheet cam cleat
Cabin will sleep 2 (although MacGregor says 4)
Cabin has original cushions, 3 of which are in great condition, 1 needs repair
Includes no-see-um screens for companionway and ports
Structurally completely sound, no leaks or soft spots
Includes:
Factory trailer with brand new tires (June 2006) and new lights/wiring
2004 Suzuki 6HP four stroke long shaft
Motor caddy - basically a hand cart rigged to hold a motor
6 Gallon fuel tank
2 Life Vests
Fire extinguisher
Boat is equipped with running lights that plug into a jump battery but the lights will need bulbs and possibly repair as they are not currently working
