Classic Flying Scot 19' sailboat, FS #284, $1750 firm, sold on newer trailer.
The boat is currently in a davit on White Rock Lake in Dallas Texas for ease of viewing, this boat will be sold on a Load Rite Flying Scot galvanized trailer in good condition. Titles and registration for both boat and trailer.
Flying Scot sailboats are great family and racing boats, and are still made today after 60 years, spare parts and upgrades are widely available, see “flying scot dot com” for more, search youtube and Google "flying scot sailboat" for lots more info.
Hull #284 has been frequently used for daysailing at Corithians Sailing Club on white rock lake in recent years, and is in sailable condition, made by Douglass in the early 1960s.
Comes with two mainsails, a jib in good sailing condition, spare jib (needs a window repair but can sail with it), spinnaker, all lines needed for sailing today. Price reflects the age and condition of the boat and the newer trailer that goes with it.
Boat is currently rigged for main and jib daysailing but has all the needed spinnaker gear including pole, blocks, sheets, etc. Sail now and restore it while you sail.
The Load Rite trailer is a Flying Scot specific trailer from a newer boat, in good condition, and ready to tow away.
I can launch and show the boat to a serious buyer now, while it is on White Rock, I am a few minutes away from the boat, please mask up for Covid safety.
NOTE: FS#284 and Load Rite trailer are for sale, the DAVIT in the photos is NOT FOR SALE. Reason for sale: Recently bought a newer, race ready Flying Scot, so this one is for sale.
