This is a 1976 SolCat 15 catamaran I bought as a project boat.
The project is done, so it needs to find a new home! There is fresh red paint, a major upgrade from the burnt (faded) color of the original.
Lots of fiberglass repair work was done and hardware and lines replaced as needed.
There's a brand new trampoline, literally installed this week, with hiking straps and a gear bag.
The sail is original and brightly colored, and has been gone over to patch any chaffed areas.
Trailer is in decent shape and road worthy.
Boat is actually 15' 9" long by 7' 11" wide.
There are small centerboards in each hull. Weight is only 275lbs, mainsail is 190sf.
There is no jib. A jib could be added without much trouble, but not sure why one would need it.
There are trapeze wires on both sides, but I do not have the harnesses.
This boat was made to compete with the Hobie 16 and is lighter by 45lbs.
This boat is easy to trailer, set up and sail and would be a blast on a breezy day.
