Built by seller 2006 (Amatuer boat builder, sailor and Mechanical Engineer).
Boat is named Diana since I used my wife's credit card to buy the wood and paid it off at our agreed spending allowance of $50/month.
Sailing a Y-Flyer is a great experience alone or with 1-2 others.
This is a performance boat that plains easily and gives the feel that only a wood boat gives.
Being 6'2, 215lbs I was too big & heavy for commercially available plaining lake boats so built my own.
Most sailing was with 1st mate.
Boat is wood (Okoume BS1088, Lloyds registered marine ply) 18ft long with pivoting spruce mast.
$750 Includes boat with "EZ-Loader" trailer with folding trailer tongue to fit in my boat garage (see pictures).
Built between 2000 and 2006 & always garaged when not sailing
