1976 Bayfield 25

  • 8 hp Yanmar diesel engine.
  • This boat is exceptionally nice. I have had it for about 8 or 9 years and done much to update.
  • New bottom job in April of this year.
  • New teak exterior and interior main cabin in "97". New blister proof on bottom in "97".
  • New engine overhaul in "97".
  • Boat is in very good condition. Motor runs excellent.
  • Lighting and radio are excellent.
  • Sails in good or better condition.
  • Lapper is red, white, and blue with star field at top.
  • I removed the fresh water tank but all plumbing is still intack.
  • Outside finish is good however gel coat is chipped on starboard rail about 6" long
  • Boat has bronze opening ports (an excellent addition).
  • All "through hulls" are bronze with ball valves.
  • The alcohol stove would need an overhaul kit for the pump.
  • This is a great small crusing boat. It is well built and well maintained. A sturdy strong sailer but no racer.
