1984 Laguna 26
Designed by Shad Turner as a light-weight and fast cruiser, this boat has incredible cabin space. Two of the berths are 8ft long. The head room is 6 ft, 2 inches! The v-berth has two opening ports with a large opening foredeck hatch, a large hanging locker and a Thetford electric porta-potti. The main cabin features loads of teak, two large opening ports, two large fixed portlights. a fold-down dining table with two settees, a fixed galley with 2-burner alcohol stove, stainless steel sink, Pioneer CD/FM/AM, new curtains and new lighting. There is even a nav station with a chart table! Storage features include a large space under the v-berth, hanging locker, sliding door storage for toiletries and a toiletry rack, large three drawer space adjacent to the v-berth door, cabinet door and drawer under the stove, two large sliding door spaces above the galley, wine rack, plate/cup storage, large spaces under the settees, three large spaces under the aft berth and two lazarettes in the cockpit.
The bottom job was professionally done in July 2005 and includes one coat of Interlux CSC and one coat of Interlux Micron Extra. CDI roller furler and North 135% genoa have two seasons on them. The delivery mainsail stills has good sailshape. The Suzuki 6.5 starts quick, runs great every time and moves this boat along at about 5 knots. All covers are Sunbrella and are new. New masthead light and new combination steaming/deck light and new roller sheaves in the masthead crane. The cockpit features a Taylor 3-bow bimini, new H & L Marine tiller with new Tiller Tamer and new tiller cover, Teleflex Morse or Volvo inboard shift/throttle control with new cables, swim ladder with new steps and new cushioned railing covers.
