1984 Florida Bay Mud Hen with trailer, tanbark sail, 3.5 horsepower outboard, anchor & rode. This boat is a wonderful camp cruiser and is in very good condition. The trailer is new.
The Mud Hen is a back to basics, sensible, no nonsense small boat. With only a 6" draft, she can sneak over the shallowest of sand bars into the cosiest and most secluded of anchorages. A gunkholers delight! The Mud Hen also has a tabernacle mast system and simple gaff rig. No messing around with a jib. The cockpit is large, functional and best of all simple. Its teak seats can hold the entire family and there is a dodger available for over-nighting. Under the tiller is a motor well which can hold up to a 4hp outboard for getting away from the dock or just motoring around when the wind dies down
