OMC 2 cylinder 2 stoke, through the hull gas motor (see below)
Deck project 99% done.
I strengthened mast area and edges of deck at the toe rails with carbon fiber and regular fiberglass, and epoxy, gel coat etc. I injected $900 worth of 'inject-a-deck' polyurethane foam in the entire deck. This strengthened enormously the deck from bow to cockpit. I have removed, re-glassed, installed back ALL of the stanchions from bow to cockpit on both sides of the deck. The deck has pvc "Fake Teak" decking that I will begin to reinstall.
Motor is OMC Saildrive (15s13a) a through the hull behind the keel, 2 stroke gas engine (see photo). I have 150 and 125 lbs compression in the engine and spark. I assume the engine needs all new gear case seals, oil and impeller. Electric start works on engine.
