So here's the background on this Vega, it truly is a once in a lifetime unicorn and if my personal situation hadnt changed I wouldnt be selling it.
I bought this last year from the previous owner who bought the boat 7 years ago in Texas and had a new custom built for the boat triple axle galvanized trailer made and trailered it back home to OR. He proceeded to strip it down to the bare hull and deck and spent 7 years turning into a new boat. Actually a better than new because the hull deck joint was glassed stem to stern, a massive mast step replaced the factory one, all interior woodwork and fitting far surpass the Albin factory quality and installed a new Beta marine diesel and had all new updated electronics and wiring professionally installed. The electrics were the one thing he didnt do himself as he felt his experience wasn't up to his very high standards so hired it out to a marine professional. All the woodwork is artisan/craftsman quality and is stunning.
He spent 7 years of every weekend and 2-3 hours a night weekdays doing this work and it is now a new boat. Never launched.
