GibSea 352, 1990 sailboat for sale

  • SV Promethee

New to market; a mighty bluewater sailing vessel with 550w solar array, 400w wind generator, lithium battery bank, new standing rigging, new water maker, new 110v electrical system, and a freshly overhauled Diesel engine with under 40 hours. This 35’ turnkey vessel has a proven safety record with the comforts of off-grid living for weeks or months at a time. Major refit done in February 2021 by current owners. Includes the 8.75’ dinghy and 8 horsepower outboard engine.

Promethee was purchased by the current owners due to her beautiful interior and functional layout, safe hull with thick fiberglass and deep keel, and potential to become the refitted boat that you see today. This French built “slutter rig” originally had three double cabins, with one cabin converted to a mechanical and storage room. With a sleeping capacity of 7, the down below is spacious and comfortable with the couch pulling into a double bed and an additional quarter berth with lee cloth. In the last two years over $40k has been invested and over 10,000 miles sailed in over 14 countries. She is ready for her next chapter with new owners who seek the off-grid adventures of a lifetime in a truly capable vessel.
