Located in Port Arthur, Texas.
It's in the water (brackish to salty water).
Never had an inboard motor.
Tiller steered. Easy to sail solo/single-handed.
Fixed-keel. Draft is just under 4 feet.
In good shape for it's age.
Sailed regularly on the weekends.
Comes with 5 sails:
1) Original 1976 (I assume) Tanzer branded Main sail + cover.
2) Large 'Hank-on' Jib, probably a genoa.
3) a newer main, but slightly taller than the mast.
4) another jib (size unknown).
5) Spinnaker..I haven't touched it. I assume symmetrical spinnaker.
I have only used the original main and the hank-on jib sail.
Has an outboard motor: newer 6HP Tohatsu.
F~6+ PFDs
Simple depth finder with display in the cockpit. Compass also in cockpit.
Shore power cable. Functioning sink drain (no faucet). Toilet. Fresh and black holds (I never used them).
Bimini frame.
Many other items.
The hull is solid. No soft spots. The gelcoat is old with many 'spider'/hairline cracks
near any and all stress points (shrouds, stays, traveler, pintle, gudgeon).
There is a faired/sanded patch of fiberglass on the port side near the bow. Don't know what happened or who started the patching. It's well above (3+ ft.) the waterline.
A minor leak from above (starboard side) where the mast shroud meets the hull. The shroud wire goes into the hull. The leak hasn't caused any problems.
The forward hatch does not close properly, and therefore drip-leaks a little when it rains. Hasn't been a problem.
The cockpit is self-draining.
Texas Title. Registration is current.
It's in a city marina with floating docks. $280 per month. Water and power included.
