The Laser 2 is a light and fast 14’-5” two-person dinghy with main sail, jib, spinnaker and trapeze, relatively simply rigged for its level of capability and performance, very easy to trailer and store.
On a light air day one person can handle it with main and jib, getting around very nicely or would be great for a parent & child team. On a breeze day, it’s an amazing thrill ride for two, on full plane with the crew out on the trapeze.
This 1985 boat, located near Austin Texas, is in excellent condition after extensive 2025 refurbishment completed out of passion rather than profit. Two sets of sails, one barely used and in excellent condition the other well used but in serviceable condition. All rigging, equipment and accessories are complete and in great condition. Any parts worn or compromised, examples, hiking straps, grabrails, turtle bag, bungee cords, lines, have been replaced with new. Trailer is in very good condition, with 2” ball coupler, absolutely ready to haul this boat to her new home.
