Ride up the Thames from Windsor, click play triangle twice.

We looked for a boat ride down the Thames to London, but couldn't find one. Maybe we should have looked harder, but we were really taking the train back to Reading and already had our tickets. We did take a boat ride on the Thames from the lock at Windsor upstream to the next lock, several miles. The video is pieces of that trip I tacked together. The Thames is very nice here, with many narrow boats and a large racetrack for horses. The Windsor side, which you see first, has many riverside houses and the racetrack. The other side is mostly fields but has a hike and bike path down the rivers edge and places to fish.

At the rivers edge was a flock of swans. Swans are royal property and protected in England so we saw them frequently, but this was the largest flock of swans we saw.
