Sailing fast upwind on a J/24, Lake Travis, Texas, February 6, 2006

I went sailing with Charlie on his J/24 this spring for a bit of practice on Lake Travis. This video is noisy, as the wind was 15+ mph. Charlie had to luff the main some it was so windy. You need the Flash plugin to see the video, click the play button to start the video. This video was taken with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ2. A $200 camera designed mainly for still photography, it will take a 30 minute video with sound if you have the 1 Gig memory card. The built in microphone is not extremely good, but it does work.
