Nails creek boat ramp, October, 2006. The lake was down about 3 1/2 feet, and the state park had been damaged by last years hurricane, so the Nails Creek area was just open for day use. The boat ramp looked usable, but there were quite a few weeds to get through to make it out on the lake. Nails creek boatramp, Lake Somerville

The Nails Creek area is on the far west end of the lake, basically as far from the dam as you can get. This video starts in the main section of the park with a view of one of the camping areas, which wasn't open for camping. Then we go along the southern shore to the next section to the east, and finally a bit at the end of Schlumberg Lane.
