Overlook Park, privately operated, is the home of the Texas A&M Brazos Sailing Club. It is on the south side of the dam and has a small marina with a great fishing tackle selection and jetski rentals. Other than the canoe rentals in the Birch Creek area of the Lake Somerville State Park these were the only boat rentals on the lake. This video is a cruise around the campsites at Overlook. We drove by the boat ramp at Overlook. The courtesy dock was not completely in the water, so I think the water at the ramp may be too shallow to launch. The we went over to see the lakeside cabins to rent, operated by the marina, and ended up renting one for the night. If we had looked at it first we wouldn't have rented it! The cabin did have a nice view, but was in pretty sad shape.
