Rocky Creek Park, operated by the Corps of Engineers, is on the south side of Lake Somerville on a peninsula. It is a large park and very nice with 200 campsites and two boatramps. This video is the park entrance and the loop for campsites 196 through 203, with a look at the excellent shower facilities. This area also has the group shelter.

Here's a look at the west boat ramp. This would be a good place to launch with a south or east wind, but there was no dock when we were there. We also saw a bit of the wildlife, including an island with lots of pelicans.
