The Sailing Texas Truck

You may see the Sailing Texas truck driving around Texas and beyond. Alison and I try to see new places, especially places with water, and we like taking the truck, it's been modified just a bit to handle water better. On this day we were trying to get north to Luckenbach for a beer and some bratwurst, and the Guadalupe River was in the way. The bridge was out. You need the Flash plugin to see the video, which should start playing by itself after it has buffered 20 seconds of the video. This video was taken with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ2 (you can see the camera in the rear view mirror, lol). A $200 camera designed mainly for still photography, it will take a 30 minute video with sound if you have the 1 Gig memory card. The built in microphone is not extremely good, but it does work.
