Humber Boats of Canada is producing the Foton, a solar powered boat with the Torqueedo electric motor. Nice little boat, available with a 2 or 6 horsepower 24 volt motor and two solar panels.

I just wanted to send you a pic of the new solar array I have on my Humber Foton. It is much nicer looking and more amenable to a marine environment, not to mention the fact that it matches the colour scheme of the motor and conforms to the shape of the deck.

More solar powered boats are being built all the time. Things are changing, this is the most affordable one I've found.
