Owl Creek Park is on Owl Creek, off the Leon River arm of Lake Belton. The picnic area isn't right on the water, but these folks camped on a point.

Directions:
On Hwy 36, take Owl Creek Road a couple miles north of the bridge
go 1.1 miles and turn left on Owl Creek Park Road
go 2.2 miles to park
