Gooslings hatch on Lake LBJ, Texas

Here's one of the nests, she is trying to hatch the last two eggs.

Bruce and I went fishing April 28, we noticed the proud parents taking their babies around the neighborhood.

After a swimming lesson they dried off on a neighbors yard and tasted the grass.

On May 12 we saw this later hatch.

Even in the middle of the afternoon the bass were biting!

Eagles also nest near Lake LBJ, these Bald eagles made their nest just a few miles upstream of the lake on the Llano river in 2004.
