The 2004 FSSA Fleet 153 Championship series will consist of the following regattas:

  • Pelican Yacht Club’s Spring Regatta on Saturday 20 March
  • Lake Arthur Yacht Club's Crawfish Regatta on Saturday 17 April
  • Lake Charles Yacht Club’s Contraband Regatta on Saturday 8 May
  • Pelican yacht Club’s Fall Regatta on Saturday 9 October
  • Lake Arthur Yacht Club's Gumbo Regatta on Saturday 16 October.
  • Cypremort Yacht Club’s Fall Regatta on the weekend of 13 & 14 November

The annual Fleet Champion will be the Flying Scot skipper with the lowest average score for sixty percent or more of the races entered by at least three Flying Scots and completed at the invitational regattas of Cypremort YC, Lake Arthur YC, Lake Charles YC, and Pelican YC. Each Scot finishing a race and not thereafter retiring or being disqualified will be scored one point for finishing first, two points for second, three for third, and so on. All other Scots competing in that race, including any that finish and thereafter retire or are disqualified, will receive the score for one more than the number of Scots competing in that race. (FSSA Fleet 153 Constitution, Article C-XIV Fleet Champion, Amended in 1994, Modified in 2001)

Don’t forget the FSSA Cajun Country Championship Regatta at Pelican YC on 20 November.

For additional, excellent Scot sailing consider Gulf Yachting Association Capdevielle Regattas.

The GYA Opening Regatta is at Fort Walton Yacht Club on the weekend of 1 & 2 May.
