2006 J/24 Mid Winters, Davis Island Yacht Club, Tampa, Florida

The Davis Island Yacht Club is very nice with excellent facilities. Located on the north end of Tampa Bay on Davis Islands, I really liked this club.

Several boats went out on Wednesday for a little practice, 2920 among them.
J/24 #2920

We sailed up and down what we thought could be the course, practicing our spinnaker and checking things out. A few boats did a practice race.

I think #2920 was the last to come in from practice on Wednesday. We were already on the upper deck enjoying the meatballs, pizza, beer and more. They laid out a real feast!
