The Portsmouth class was dominated by the MC 16 Scows, John Bates 1st, Jack Kern 2nd and Burt Scott 3rd. Pictures on the Sunfish, Laser and MC Scows page. The other 7 entries were Texas Centerboard Circuit racers, who race 8 regattas across Texas this year.
John Allison took 4th place in his Mutineer 15. He was so far ahead of me most of the time I didn't get one picture of him and his son racing.
Steve Wesson took 5th in his Aquafin, even though Bill ran over him in his Dolphin 17.
Jennifer Loehlin and Robin took 6th in her Harpoon 5.2 |
Rey Garza did well on Saturday, but this tree encounter made him sit out the Sunday races. He had done so well on Saturday he still won 7th overall! |
