The Marine Science Consortium has accepted a 1968 Allied Seawind 30 located near Annapolis Maryland as a donation. The boat is currently stored out of the water and plastic wrapped. It is from the estate of the previous owner and has been stored for four years. If we have to move the boat and put it with a broker it will lessen the amount we will receive as a 501(c)(3) non profit educational institution.

These boats have been sailed around the world at least 9 times and have a reputation for strong construction and seaworthiness.

This one is a project in need of a good cleaning and cosmetic restoration but looks to be in sail-away condition now. It has a newly rebuilt Volvo motor with very low hours, a stainless steel gas stove and a full set of sails along with various additional gear. Because of being stored so long, it has some mold on the interior and a soiled exterior.
