1980 AMF Puffer
12.5 ft. sailboat/rowboat

Description: Puffer daysailer and racing sloop, the Puffer is a beautifully designed sloop which offers the stability of a wide hull.
Crew Capacity: 450 lbs (1-3).
Safety: positive flotation, built in ball lock bailer.

This boat is in good condition, mast, boom, sails, main w/ reefing points, jib. It has been used it on a weekly basis for rowing and sailing on a local fresh water lake. We also have carried a kayak on top for camping and one or two kayaks will fit nicely with camping gear.
It's ready to sail /row nothing needed. It can be launched from the beach off the trailer, easy to rig, the sails are small and easy to handle.
The boat package includes 6 ft. oars & Perko bronze oar locks(2005), spare daggerboard, lifejacket, new main halyard.
The boat comes with a spare daggerboard built by Tosh Custom boatwork.
The bailer was recently replaced with a new one (The Sunfish and Puffer share the same bailer and rudder head).
I have all the paperwork for the boat, title, and original owner documentation.
The boat has been well maintained, stored under cover, hull cleaned and waxed. The sails were inspected by a Houston sailmaker in 2005 and the main set up reefing, the jib is set up with a downhaul.
Trailer- 2005- like new, low use (est. 400 miles) galvanized E-Z Loader, with spare tire, and winch. It has a winch and a small mast support. It makes launching and retrieval easy and safe. The boat and trailer are a good fit.
Asking price for everything as described above: $1900.
options: if you don't need or want the trailer and/or oars will sell for a lot less.
