1999 Antrim 27 #19

  • LOA is 27'10"
  • Max Beam is 9'3"
  • LWL is 23'9"
  • Max Draft is 6'
  • Mast is 37' and deck stepped.
  • Specs displacement is 2900 lbs, 1050 of which is in the keel
  • Bowsprit length is 6'10", and rotates to port and starboard.
  • Northern California PHRF rating is 75.
  • The keel hoists for ease of trailering.

Exceptionally well maintained boat, recent survey and past surveys available, always dry-sailed, no bottom paint.

Category 1 is for and Offshore Racing Rule standard for long distance offshore racing, such as races from California to Hawaii or to Mexico, Newport/Bermuda, and the Chicago and Port Huron to Mackinaw races.

    Included equipment with the boat:

  • Nexus instrument package, three readouts, GPS interface
  • Carbon mast, 2 internal spinnaker halyards
  • Below deck roller furler on jib/headstay (standard for Antrim 27)
  • Autohelm
  • VHF with masthead antenna
  • LED masthead tricolor running lights
  • Multiple spinnakers including all purpose (2), heavy air runner, shy kite
  • Lightly use jib, old jibs, two mains (new main on order)
  • Lavac head (never used, other than for internal bilge pump)
  • Virtually unused original floorboards (we have dry deck in the boat)
  • Cushions (unused)
  • Internal sink with 8 gallon bladder for water.
  • Anchor with chain & rode.
  • Various spare sheets, parts.
  • 5 HP outboard - Honda 4 stroke
  • Trailer with trailer box

Offshore/Pacific Cup Category 1 gear included with the boat:

  • Single Side Band radio with tuner.
  • External spare spinnaker halyard with attachment block at masthead
  • Runners and checkstays
  • Life raft with current certification
  • Smaller motor - two stroke
  • Swing stove
  • Sleeping berths for crew up to four
  • Jack lines plus other crew safety gear
  • Dodger (important offshore addition)

Will sell for less without Category 1 gear.

I have raced the boat to Hawaii from San Francisco four times in the Pacific Cup race. Pacific Cup modifies the OSR Category 1 requirements to allow competitors to include smaller boats that don't have inboard engines, which is otherwise a standard Cat 1 requirement.

includes 5 H.P. Honda OB, trailer, many sails.
