I sail her regularly in the east bay area of Panama City. These pictures were taken on 6 March 2005. Boat includes an ugly, but fully functional, trailer. I regularly tow this boat 350 miles south to central Florida with no problems. I towed it from Texas last year with no problems.

The Apollo is a slooped rigged day sailor with roller furling jib and a swing centerboard. Mast was replaced two years ago and all halyards are internally routed. Mainsail is in fair condition; jib is in good condition. The autobailors in the bottom of the cockpit work very well and are tight.

The lines on this boat are extremely fast. It has a round bottom with a narrow entry. This boat can hold up to 4 adults. I've sailed it with over 550 pounds of crew weight; it was a dog but still handled and performed well. I sail it regularly single-handed, but it can be a handful for a solo sailor in anything over 7-8 knots (see pictures). This boat has a very aggressive sail plan and moves well even in light winds. There is one reef piont in the mailsail and I have installed a "jiffy reef" system.

I would guess that this boat is for an intermediate level sailor although I pretty much learned on this boat. It is very fast, but can be squirrelly in high winds without the proper crew weight. The greatest lesson this boat will teach is sail trim. The feedback is instant.

The Apollo sold this afternoon. Actually, I had a buyer after the ad was online for two days, it just took a couple of weeks to take delivery of it. Thanks for the help.
